What is "Wet-bulb globe temperature"

The wet-bulb globe temperature is a measure of the heat stress in direct sunlight, which takes into account: temperature, humidity, wind speed, sun angle and solar radiation. It is used to determine appropriate exposure levels to high temperatures.

*(28-31℃) means the temperature is greater than or equal to 28 degrees Celsius, and is less than or equal to 31 degrees Celsius. (25-28℃) means the temperature is greater than or equal to 25 degrees Celsius, and is less than or equal to 28 degrees Celsius. • ・WBGT may differ from the forecast, as it is updated every six hours.
  • ・WBGT forecast value is calculated using data provided by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan with our original method, and there are limitations of forecasting. Drastic change in weather may cause some difference between the actual value and the forecast value. There is still a risk of heatstroke even when WBGT is at low value, depending on your physical condition and working condition, so take appropriate action depending on your situation.
